The Shoe Dolls!

Owners Morgan Alexandria and Shante Kane, Started their business in October of 2010.
Their Company offers Shoe Luxury at its best. Shoe Doll takes previously
owned or newly purchases shoes and personally customizes them into a one
of a kind design. Shoe Dolls will take the shoe or boot and design them
with crystals, spikes and other various materials.

Where did the Idea come from?

We started the idea because we both (Morgan & Shante) loved shoes and
always had a vision creatively. We would always get compliments on our
shoes so to come together collectively to start The Shoe Dolls was
natural.
Your favorite type of shoe to customize, and why? (pump, wedge, boot)

We like to work with all types of shoes because each shoe is unique and
designed for our client. However, pumps are always a favorite because
there is so many creative ways to design them.

What is your most popular request?

Everyone loves a good Swarovski crystal decked out heel. It really
captures the eye with any outfit both indoor and outdoor. At the same
time, it is still very sophisticated and classy. But since we have an
array of clients, spikes and stud covered shoes can also be a top sellar.

20-30 years from now, what do you want your customers to say about "The
Shoe Dolls" ?

We want our clients to familiarize our brand as a upscale luxury shoe
company coast to coast. Our clients will be able to spread the brand name
because of its attention to quality and detail and how it has redefined
shoe standards.

Their recent accomplishments, Shoe designer at Philly Fashion Week and now their
shoes will be available in 2 reputable shops in the Philadelphia area!

I came across their shoes at an event in Philadelphia. I walked pass their booth, then slowly turned around and walked back. I fell inlove with their designs. The spikes, and Swarovski crystals are my favorite!

Their designs are unique, and truly one of a kind!!

ONE Piece....TWO Looks!!

A "One Piece" can be worn so many ways. I chose two. The look above I chose a more casual look. This can be worn during the day. The hat is perfect for the srping. Add's a nice touch. (What do you think?)

The second look I took away the jean shirt, boots, and hat. Adding heels, and a fun head ban. I'd say this look is more girly. I chose the Blue Blazer to add more color. We all know spring is all about COLOR COLOR COLOR!!!

All looks were put together by *Yours Truly* : )

This look reminds me of Spring! Long Maxi Skirt, printed vest, with a nice over-sized straw hat. The gold belt was added for a little flare.

Now, the second look I went for more of a "Playful Summer Night" look. High waisted Cut-Offs are a necessity for this Season!

Look of The Day! "PARKA"

On a rainy day, with not much to do, I decided to go with a casual look.

I purchased my "Parka" a while back. It was just a bit too cold to wear. Since the weather is warming up now, I'll be wearing it more often!

I think I have a small obessesion with wearing belts around my stomach. Its mostly done when an Item is a bit too large for me. Knowing its not fitting I always say "Hey! I can throw a belt around it!" Lol

I did a "Jean on Jean" look. Once again pairing My lighter denim with Dark Denim. I'm still not a big fan of having on two pieces of jean being the same color. Maybe I havent fell inlove with it just yet : )

Look of The Day!

I've been waiting to wear this sequenced top FOREVER!
I just never had the right event to wear it to. But this past Sunday gave me the perfect opportunity! I attended an event called "ART'S, BEATS, and EATS" Its a Monthly Networking Mixer, held in Philadelphia, PA.

My top was a little too loose so I brought it in with my little gold belt. I think the leaf added a nice POP! To the outfit.

This clutch, OH THIS CLUTCH!
I knew it had to be mine when I first came across it!
I found it in my local vintage shop "Piccadilli's" located it in Ardmore right across from the R5 stop.
