Day 4 of Philly Fashion Week: Finale Couture Runway Show!

Day 4, the last day of Philadelphia Fashion Week. It's been a hectic week but I'm sad it's over. It was my first year attending all events, and I'm so happy I did!

The Couture Show featured  9 Collections:

AUTUMNLIN – Philadelphia
Veronica Couture – Paris
English Clientele – Los Angeles
Amaresinh – Philadelphia
Faithful by Michael Thomas – Philadelphia
Walish Gooshe – Washington D.C.
Clarenz Couture Collektion – Virginia
Celestino Couture – New York

Here's a few snippets that I recorded of the show:

I always love the couture show. Designers get to show their level of creativity. It's always a pleasure to see bold ideas show through their collections.

Day 3 of Philly Fashion Week: Ready-to-Wear Runway Show!

Day 3 of Philadelphia Fashion Week! The runway shows were held at The Crane Arts Building located on 1400 N. American St.
The Ready-to-Wear Showcased 8 Collections, from all over the world!

Jaya Misra – India
 Lara Elizabeth – New Jersey
Osrick Ingredients Cricket – New Jersey
Ying Edge – Maryland
Adore – Philadelphia
Aso Damisi – Nigeria
Paula Hian – Paris
DMarsh Women – New York

The night was full of lights and music. I always enjoy the Ready-to-Wear Show, mainly because I'm always On the Go! I like to dress up but I also like to  comfortable. There were some simple pieces that I really enjoyed. I'd have to say my favorite collection was Osrick Ingredients Cricket. The Men's line. He gave us such variety, from suits, to track jackets, and shorts. It was well put together.

I've worked with Lara Elizabeth designs before, so being able to see them on the runway was amazing to me! It was a pretty awesome show, and I'm glad I had the chance to attend.

Stay tuned for Day 4 of Philly Fashion Week!!

Hey guys! Here's a little preview from Day two of Philly Fashion Week!

It was a wonderful night. Full of fashionable attendees. The Cocktail Chic Party was held at The Kimmel Center, located in Downtown Philadelphia.

The Highlight of the night was the runway show that featured two Collections. Strange Fruit by Kristin Sims, and Melody Thomas.
Banana Republic also put on an awesome runway show.

I loved the events That were held prior to the actual fashion shows. The room was filled with music provided by DJ Hollywood. It was nice and suddle, not too loud. It gave everyone a great opportunity to network and meet new people.

Fall has finally arrived!!

It was a chilly night, and I loved every minute of it! I attended Lypstick's 2nd annual Fashion Show. So of course I had to be stylish, but warm. So I added on the layers!

I wore thick black panty hose, and over the knee boots. YES boots! I've missed them so much!

I carried an over-sized Black and Grey Clutch. To break up all of the black, and added gold accessories.

Shorts: Gitano Express (Vintage)

Styled By Kia Denise! Chai Tea Vintage Shoot!

A beautiful Sunday afternoon, what shall I do?, what shall I do? Hhhmmmm! Hey lets do a shoot!!

Of course it wasnt as simple as that. We spent weeks on planning this shoot. Picking models, deciding which look would work best for them, and deciding hair and make up looks for each model. The easiest part was.....Finding the location!!

We shot in a abandoned tire junk yard (I believe that's what it was.)  Being the " Scaredy Cat" that I am. I was paranoid about everything! " Dont walk there!  " "Dont touch that!" Im a mess when it comes to places like that. But if it gives us a good shot I'll manage!

I was able to work with a very talented group of young adults!
Of course my team and I came together! The photo's Came out great! Let me know your thoughts!
