I recently found my other sim card which held the rest of my photos from The Dominican Republic. Although it's a month later I'd still love for you guys to see my adventures in Punta Cana!
On this day in Punta Cana, We took an Adventure tour on The Country Side of the Dominican Republic. Our first stop was an Dominican Elementary School. We got to meet the students, and learn how difficult it is for some students to make it to school. There aren't many schools in the Dominican Republic, so a lot of students have to travel a long distance just to make it to class. The students were full of joy and very pleasant.
After visiting the school, we then visited a ranch, where they grew their own vegetables, and fruit. We were shown how to make cigars, and also how chocolate was made. We had a lovely lunch while there. Which was served family style. It was an all day tour , being around our group for 9 hours definitely felt like we were family.
After a long tour we then headed to the beach. This wasn't your average beach, it was a private excluded beach by the name of Macao. It was the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. The water was crystal clear for miles and miles. It was simply breath taking.
Once we got back to the resort, we had dinner at their Mexican Restaurant, and ended our night with a few cocktails, and our favorite bartenders.
